Welcome to TitanTHRIVE

Confidential Advocacy Services

A campus resource focused on: advocacy for students, faculty, and staff impacted by sexual violence; raising awareness of sexual violence as a cultural, social, and individual experience; and, supporting the development of collective wellbeing across campus. We are dedicated to a trauma-informed and survivor-centered approach in all of our services and programming.

Sexual violence is an umbrella term that we use to refer to a collection of actions and expressions of power and control that may be sexual, physical, emotional, psychological, or financial in nature, as well as institutional, structural, and systemic. Sexual violence includes experiences of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual or gender-based harassment, and gender-based violence. These experiences may occur directly in-person or virtually using technology. Sexual violence often results in both short- and long-term trauma.

Sexual violence is intricately connected to legacies of cisheterosexism and patriarchy, white supremacy and anti-Black racism, settler colonialism, and other systemic oppressions. Addressing sexual violence requires an intersectional struggle to address these codependent systems of oppression
